Jesus Himself emphatically said that no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again (John 3:3). And then He continued to pronounce a very strong command by saying, “Do not marvel that I said to you, you must be born again (John 3:7).” Take note that the Lord Jesus used the auxiliary verb “must” which means to be obliged or bound to by an imperative requirement. Simply put, this is a command which every person is obliged to do. This pronouncement precludes any form of religion, a clear indication that no religion can lead to salvation.
